Textile Care Instructions

Our handmade screenprinted textiles are made from linen union and lined with heavy weight cotton canvas. We screenprint each piece of fabric by hand using high quality light fast pigments. We carefully sew and hand finish each textile piece, all in our small West Yorkshire studio.

All our handmade textile items can be hand washed in cool water and left to air dry. Can be reshaped with a cool iron. Linen is a strong fabric which becomes beautifully softened with age, this is part of its natural charm.

Our fabric containers are lined with natural waxed canvas to give them shape and durability. If creased, they can be gently reshaped with a cool iron. The wax makes the lining canvas splash-proof and containers are great as a plant pot cover. We recommend placing a small saucer or tray beneath the pot inside the container to collect any excess water from the plant.

Our tea towels are 100% cotton and screenprinted in the UK. They can be machined washed at 40 degrees and ironed with a medium iron. Do not tumble dry.

Screenprint Care Instructions

All our prints are printed with high quality, professional fade resistant inks. We use acid free, archival quality paper. This means if cared for correctly they will last for many year to come. We recommend framing prints with archival backing materials behind glass, and hanging away from direct sunlight.

Most of our prints will fit standard sized frames. Print dimensions are detailed on individual listings, but if you need any more information please get in touch. More framing advice can be found here

Fine Bone China Care Instructions

Our mugs are made for us by Heraldic Pottery in Stoke on Trent, a company with many years of experience producing & decorating fine bone china. The mugs are made entirely in the UK. Our designs are first screenprinted in glaze then applied to the mugs and fired. This makes the colours crisp and sharp and the designs extremely durable.
