Environmental Policy

At Folded Forest we recognise that as artists and manufacturers we have a responsibility to the environment and we take this very seriously. We aim to reduce our environmental impact and to continue to regularly assess our progress.

We always consider what we make before using the worlds resources to manufacture a product. Our aim is to design and make products that people feel a connection to; products made with care from high quality materials that aren’t ‘throw away’ and instead will be treasured and enjoyed for years to come.

Responsibility

Sarah Peel & Ruth Viqueira are responsible for ensuring this environmental policy is implemented. We will also share our environmental goals with any employees, suppliers and customers when possible.

Products

We will:

-       Use only responsibly sourced materials to manufacture and package our products
-       Source FSC paper stocks where possible. Either recycled or from sustainable sources
-       Make economical use of paper (ie when cutting down for printing) to reduce wastage, and re use offcuts where possible
-       Reduce waste and recycle any waste paper and other recyclable materials

Packaging

We will:

-       Source sustainable or recycled packaging for our products
-       Reduce packaging as much as possible and commit to removing single use plastic
